Dynamic menus � Folding menus


The bluetronix software includes 5 different, so-called folding menu types.

With the help of the dynamic menus, many navigation points can be arranged in a clear form. Since only the subitems of the currently selected menu item appear, the visitor of the homepage is not overwhelmed and will quickly find his way around.

With the menu editor, any number of points and planes can be created. The menu, the layers as well as each individual button can be extensively controlled with the CSS editors can be designed. Button states such as �mouseover� (when moving the mouse over it) or �onclick� (when clicking on it) can be defined via the style classes. Different menu types on a homepage are possible, as shown in the picture below.

Menu types

In the following the 5 different menu types of the bluetronix software are introduced.

The horizontal menu (right-hand version) opens all sub-menus of the 2nd level downwards when you move over a menu item of the 1st level. The 3rd level and all following levels open to the right.

The horizontal menu (left-hand version) opens all sub-menus of the 2nd level downwards when you move over a menu item of the 1st level. The 3rd level and all following levels open to the left.

The vertical menu (right-hand version) opens up all sub-menus of the 2nd level and all subsequent sub-menus to the right when you move over a menu item of the 1st level.

The vertical menu (left-hand version) opens all sub-menus of the 2nd level and all following sub-menus to the left when you move over a menu item of the 1st level.

The vertical menu (opening downwards) opens the 2nd level and all subsequent levels downwards when clicking on a 1st level menu item. When clicking on another menu item of the 1st layer, all layers that are still open are closed first.

The Menu Editor

In the edit mode, all dynamic menus display the

   Edit menu button is displayed. This allows the menu editor to be opened directly.

To open the menu editor via the HTML editor, load a page in the editor  Edit pageclick on the corresponding menu (for example on a menu item) and click on the  Edit menu Symbol.

*Insert main point, always on the 1st level
Insert subitem, one level lower from the current position
Insert point above, on the same plane
Insert point below, on the same plane
Delete point
Create a link, from the page administration or to an external URL
Remove link
Link Preview, shows the currently occupied target of the link in a new window
     Option Create pages automatically, adds to menu items that have no page (no link)

Assign button layout to all menu items in the current layer
 Assign button layout to all menu items in the entire menu

 In the standard setting, the pages of new menu items are created automatically. It is not necessary to create and link the corresponding page.
